Grenfell NSW

What an unlikely place

I traveled from Forbes to Grenfell today for the annual Henry Lawson Festival, which is held over the June long weekend in Australia.

Whilst I found no interest in the Festival I was quite impressed with the town itself. Everything is as it was from many years gone by, some buildings even as they were in tthe Colonial years. The real attraction however was the types of shops Grenfell offers, numerous coffee houses, clothes and home ware stores.

Another amazing treat was a pop up Devonshire tea room next to the courthouse. What an amazing brew and sweets to go with it.
